Biography from AskART:

Born in Chicago, Andree Rexroth studied at the Academy of Fine Art in Chicago and by 1930, was living in San Francisco where she became active in the local art scene. For the WPA (Works Progress Administration), she completed abstract paintings in oil and watercolor. She was the wife of poet Kenneth Rexroth.
