Biography from AskART:
Wayne Pritchard of Trinidad, Colorado grew up in New Mexico and after serving in the Marines attended the California College of Arts and Crafts on the G.I. Bill. He completed his master's degree at the University of New Mexico.

Pritchard worked in construction to support his family and has only recently been able to pursue his art full time. The landscape of the southwest is the greatest influence to his art.
