Biography from AskART:
Born in Illinois on Feb. 12, 1897. Mrs. Melnicoe moved to California in 1933. She taught in the Oakland public schools for many years. A divorcée, she died in Oakland on June 11, 1959. Member: SF Women Artists. Exh: Calif. WC Society, 1942-54.
