| | Born in Barcelona, Spain in 1798. A gentleman of property and a former Spanish diplomat, Munras painted the murals in the San Miguel Mission in 1820 or 1821. Munras Avenue in Monterey is named for him. He died at his Monterey home in 1850. | Source:
