Biography from AskART:

A portrait painter, Arnold Mountfort lived the first part of his life in Europe where his subjects were notable persons. In 1923, he settled in Los Angeles, California and was active there until his death in Hollywood in 1942. He exhibited at the De Saisset Gallery.
