Louis Robert Arthur Latapie
1891-1972
Louis Robert Arthur Latapie was born July 11, 1891 in Toulouse, Haute-Garonne, France. He studied art at many different schools including the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris and in 1907 he studied with Jacques Lipchitz at the Académie Julian. Three years later, in 1910, he studied with Sérusier at he Académie Ranson, where he later taught from 1923-1924.
