| | Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, she studied at Tulane University from 1945 to 1946 and in 1948, earned a BFA from the University of Southern California. She did graphic designs for Philip Johnson, architect, and has had numerous exhibits, primarily in New York City. From 1948 to 1956, she was a graphic designer with Alvin Lustig, from 1956 to 1969, a freelance designer, and then a freelance painter. She has also served as an advisor to the Yale University School of Design . Her primary residence has been New York City. |
