The following information was submitted in July of 2006 by Robert Savage, a private collector from Wellesley, Massachusetts: David Lussier's broad brush impressionist technique reflects the style of Emile Gruppe and George Bellows. Lussier studied at the Paier College of Art in Hamden, Connecticut, and at the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts. He is a signature member of the National Academy of Professional Plein Air Painters and the past President of the Connecticut Plein Air Paint (showing 500 of 2370 characters). |
