| | Sculptor. Born in Richmond, VA on Jan. 28, 1872. Lukeman studied with Daniel C. French and at Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. In 1911 he completed Angel of Death, a life-size bronze memorial for the family of U. S. Grant Jr. at Greenwood Cemetery in San Diego. He later worked on the colossal sculptures on Stone Mountain, Georgia which had been started by Gutzon Borglum. Member: ANA (1909). Exh: Louisiana Purchase Expo (St Louis), 1904 (bronze medal).
