| | Born in Marshall, IL on Dec. 7, 1883. Nellie Killgore moved to Fort Collins, CO in the 1890s. After graduating from Colorado State University in 1902, she studied at the AIC and Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. She then taught at Colorado State University until her marriage to H. J. Klinge in 1920. During the 1920s she lived for a few years in Stockton, CA before settling in Preston, ID.
