Born in Michigan, Gerd Koch became a painter and art teacher in California, where he settled in Ventura. He earned a BFA degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, and an MFA from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
In 1998, on the campus of California State University at Camarillo, he co-founded Studio Channel Islands Art Center, which was a large area with four galleries, a sculpture garden and studios for thirt (showing 500 of 2731 characters). |
