With a preferred medium of plastic, Freda Koblick, born in San Francisco, builds non-objective sculptures. She studied at San Francisco City College, San Francisco State College, and Plastics Engineering at the Plastic Industrial Technical Institute in 1943. She taught at the Royal College of Art in London, (1965-67) and California State University at Hayward in 1973.
Commissions include cast acrylic doors for the Sheraton Hotel in Dallas, an acrylic relief for the Rohm and Haas Building (showing 500 of 848 characters). |
