| | Born in San Francisco, CA on April 7, 1877. Kingsland spent most of her life in her native city. She was the wife of Joseph Bergmans of Holland until their divorce in the 1920s. Her last few months were spent across the bay in Berkeley; she died there on Oct. 3, 1969. Her work includes wood burning, a few paintings, and small hand-carved pieces of furniture. | Source:
