A Wyoming native, born and raised in Cheyenne, Christie Kemp has long been attached to the Platte Valley and the Medicine Bow and Sierra Madre Ranges. Her Grandmother’s ranch in the Snowy Range Mountains provided her with the awe-inspiring beauty and bounty she came to know and love so much.
Influenced by other painters in her family, she began painting with watercolors and turned eventually to oils.
