| | Born in Manila, PI on May 18, 1910 of American parents. At age two Ford moved with his parents to Oakland where he grew up and attended public schools. His art training was at the CCAC and CSFA. He exhibited during the 1930s in Palo Alto, Oakland, San Francisco, and Santa Cruz before abandoning his art career to operate a private school in the Los Altos hills. He was a resident of Palo Alto until his demise on May 3, 1990. | Source:
