| Born in Canada on Aug. 13, 1853. About 1874 Evelyn wed John Fullonton, an Army lieutenant. The marriage was not a happy one and so she fled to Paris to study art for several years. While there, she exhibited at the Paris Salon. After a few years in Boston, she arrived in Los Angeles about 1911 with her son, Robert, and settled in Laguna Beach in 1919. She gave lessons at her studio and exhibited regularly with the Laguna Beach Art Ass'n until her death on Feb. 13, 1931. Her rare works incl (showing 500 of 934 characters). |
