Charles Ewing first absorbed a love of painting watching his father, Frank, create magic at the easel. He began his own full-time career at the easel in 1976, exploring scratchboard medium but finding it lacking, he developed a superior clay surface for his fine art applications.
Charles Ewing is best known for his work with ink on clay and for his extensive painting in oil, both plein-air landscapes as well as studio pieces focusing principally on figures, both human and animal. (showing 500 of 1045 characters). |
