| Born in Santa Ana, CA on Jan. 1, 1901. Lulu Hawkins graduated from the University of Nevada and then earned an M.A. degree from UC Berkeley. She had further art training in NYC at the ASL, the Metropolitan School of Art, and the Grand Central Art School. While studying art there she married F. A. Braghetta in 1930. Returning to California in 1932, she studied at the Chouinard School of Art and became a professional sculptor with a studio in San Francisco. She contributed wall reliefs on Tre (showing 500 of 1228 characters). |
