Biography from AskART:
| Trained at the Los Angeles Art Center for five years at night, he worked as a technical illustrator at Lockheed and art director for a small film company. He became art director for Rockwell International but took early retirement in 1987 to become a full-time portrait artist, working with pencil. He and his wife moved to Paso Robles, California to a ten acre ranch, and they became founders of the San Luis Obispo County Cattleman's Association Western Art Show and Sale.
