Born Portland, Oregon, Feb 7, 1909 and died 1967, John Ballator was a painter and instructor. He studied at the Portland Museum of Art School and the University of Oregon and also was a graduate of Yale University with a BFA in 1924.
He was head of the Design Department at Washburn College, Topeka in 1937 and resigned to go to Hollins College, Hollins, VA in 1938 and became head of the Design Department there in 1941. (showing 438 of 747 characters). |
