Biography from AskART:

Born in Waterloo, NY on March 26, 1865. Cook-Smith studied with Wm M. Chase, at the AIC and in France, Holland and Italy. She had homes in both Long Island, NY and Chula Vista, CA from 1918 through the early 1930s. Member: Nat'l Ass'n of Women Painters & Sculptors. In: San Diego Museum (Maya Frieze).
