The studio artist and illustrator was born in Mobile, Alabama in 1959. He is mainly self taught and displayed his talent at a very early age, doing his first painting at age 9. Buzz won his first art competition by the age of 10 while attending Kate Shepard Elementary School. He was a scholastic magazine Gold Key scholarship winner in the Kansas State Art Competition at the age of 17 and received a scholarship to the K (showing 500 of 5129 characters). |
